Environment Variable Setup Process
Before you can run the software, you need to setup the environment variables for
GWN-DTM. These environment variables are setup within MicroStation. To setup
these variables, follow these steps.
1. From the top menu bar, click on the "Workspace" drop down menu
and click on the "Configuration" option. See figure below. A
configuration dialog will be displayed. In the Category list box, the
"All" category should be highlighted.
2. Click on the "New" button. A Configuration dialog will be
displayed.
3. Type "MS_DTM" in the Variable: input text box (all
capitals) and type "c:\gwn_dtm\" in the New Value: input text box
(note: the backslash at the end is required). Click on [OK] to save
the new variable. See figure below.
4. Type "MS_FEAT4" in the Variable: input text box (all
capitals) and type "c:\gwn_dtm\feature" in the New Value: input text
box (note: the backslash at the end is required). Click on [OK] to
save the new variable. See figure below.
This is what you should get after you have properly defined the
environment variables for gwn-dtm.

5. To load the GWN-DTM Main Dialog menu bar, load a design file within
MicroStation and type the following at the MicroStation command prompt:
uSTN>> mdl load ms_dtm:dtm (enter) See figure below.
